Welcome to Isla Sorna! Before we disembark, I'd like to make sure that everyone's familiar with the rules for visiting this island. First of all, please respect the island's environment and its native inhabitants. Basically, this means don't destroy local plant life and don't leave any litter. Secondly, for your own safely, please stay with the tour group at all times and don't touch or feed the animals unless I've given you permission to do so. Lastly, you're all welcome to take photos, but no flash photography is allowed.
Hope you all enjoy your visit!

Well, it looks like some of the island's natives are coming to say hi. We've got a Sauropod herd on its way down the beach.

Diplodocus carnegii, one of the longest dinosaurs known from a complete skeleton, twenty-four metres from the snout to the end of the tail. So far, two Diplodocus species have been named, both found in what's now the midwestern United States. It lived during the Late Jurassic, between 154 and 152 million years ago. Thankfully, they're herbivores, so they won't want us for dinner.

Check out what's just appeared! A big, fluffy Segnosaurus.

Oh better stay away from those claws.

Strange thing is, despite being classed as a Theropod, that's the group that all the predators belong to, Segnosaurus is a vegetarian. The claws are used mostly for defense and tearing branches off trees.
*wanders further down the beach*
Come on, everyone. Let's see what else we can find.

*comes across Theropod eating dead Plesiosaur* We've got our first Theropod, Dilophosaurus. Best not get too close while it's having its lunch. One thing to point out, don't believe everything you see in the movies. Dilophosaurus doesn't spit venom.

I had no idea there were furry dinosaurs! Neither did I, but I know that some had feathers (probably birds' ancestors).
