I posted what I thought was a funny joke. Facebook warned me about the post & said it might be dangerous. What do you think?

They tend to be a little overly strict in their censoring there...clearly they saw the words "Covid 19" and "Cure" in the same post and that was enough for them. A little silly on their part.

I would say a lot silly on their part if they don't get the joke. At times like this you have to laugh a little.

If there are enough parameters in the settings to weed out unwanted contributuins, they are wrongly adjusted. Nude statues, other non-provocative art and phrases taken out of context should be subject to human evaluation when red-flagged, not just deleted or censored.

That reminds me why I rarely use Facebook.

All social media has their pros anc cons, but generally want to know many private details and sell them to other companies without you knowing it.

Don't put in personal details arrow1000, My Facebook has very few details and the ones there are sometimes days and years off like my age. My friends know my age. So if they want to sell my mis information I don't care.

Actually, I don't use Facebook much anymore. It's lost its initial charm and turned into a roller coster of like clicks.

My wife likes it but again I rarely have time to even use it.
There have been other sites like My Space. It wasn't bad but in the end I think Facebook bought them out.
I do watch Dr. Phil and some of his shows deal with people that meet on Facebook and later without even knowing each other get married. Actually it's some of my favorite shows because it's so unbelievable. The the marriages rarely work out.
All my Facebook friends are either family or friends that I actually know Tix is the exception because I've never met him. Years ago to play some games the people you played had to be in your friends. That finally changed.

An increasing number of people marry partners they have met online, no as much on Facebook as on more typical dating sites or apps, I guess. But for such relationships to succeed, I think the couple should spend some time together in real life first.

Some only see picture and never Facetime or Skype. Their phone is always broken. BIG red flag Then they ask for money another BIG red flag. There is a show on now called 90 Day Romance and they have all met on some type of social media be it Facebook or a dating site. One guy had to PAY just to talk to his Girlfriend of 7 years. Finally he met her and gave her a phone that translated everything. She was from the Ukraine. She felt uncomfortable using it. Probably because she wasn't getting paid to talk to him. There were so many Red flags and he just was blinded with love. So now after 7 years they are no longer together. Works the same with Facebook ev=xcept you don't have to pay to talk to each other.
