Several people have won millions in lotteries more than once. It's not as incredible as it may seem, though. Statistics operate within a fixed set of parameters. While most cases clump together around an average result, the rest can be found stretched along the horizontal line, which contains increasingly fewer hits the further away from the centre you get. This phenomenon is called standard deviation. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_deviationIn a more understandable language: Most long-term participants in a lottery will sooner or later win a small prize (centre of a graph), while some will never win (extreme left) and a lucky few can collect jackpot (extreme right). Another interesting point is that the statistics are being reset for every round in the lottery. A previous winner will therefore have the same chance of winning in future drawings as everybody else.
