Nowadays, many people walk around with a sound ditributor in their ears, either connected to a divice with a cable or hooked up via a wireless solution. Sometimes, it's difficult to get their attention and if they play music too loud, others can hear it too, like fellow passengers on public means of transportation. Your opinion? Is it good or bad? Which is your favourites and why? And what do you listen to? Phone, radio, music, sound books? I have never used them and I think it's contributing to antisocial behaviour along with sound pollution if played too loud. I am sometimes disturbed on the metro. But I see the point in listening to something while jogging, although I prefer the silence and natural sounds of the forest.

I have used 'ear buds' a few times and hate them. I am like you Tix Mascot, I prefer quite and nature. Most days at home if hubby is outside I leave the TV and radio off and just listen to nature.

Never have worn ear buds outside. I've worn them inside the house so I can listen to a video while my wife watches TV.
In the car I listen to the radio but never loud.

In a warehouse I worked, much of my time was spent operating a fork lift. It was very noisy, so the radio was built into a set of bell-shaped ear speakers.

Rarely if ever use earbuds...I just find them uncomfortable.

If I risk disturbing someone with my devices, I'd rather not be using them.

Best way to lose your hearing. I use to wear wireless headphones when on the tread mill and at night during vacation. Now I'm nearly deaf.

I used earbuds when I played drums, both to protect myself and to hear the other musicians. Apart from that, I feel uncomfortable wearing them.
