Anybody out there?
Music has always been a part of my life.
As a toddler, I had plenty of old video tapes with songs to sing along to. My parents would sing with me and music became a natural part of growing up. I greatly appreciate the influence music had on me when I was young.
Depending on my mood, I usually like fast music with a good bassline. While lyrics can be meaningful, I don't discard a song just because they are shallow. I also listen to some foreign music where I don't even know what the words mean, while my clumsy attempts at playing the guitar and singing is limited to my own company. lol

I love music, grew up with it. My grandmother was a piano teacher and worked in a music store for a lot of her life. My mother played the Cello in the Knoxville, TN Orchestra for a long time. Me...never really had any musical talent, sang in Choir for a lot of years but tired of it after High School. I love music of all kinds, everything really except Rap and Hip Hop.

I was in marching and concert band in HS and also sang in the choir. Also sang in the choir in college and now I sing in my church choir and cantor too. Music has always been a part of my life.

Every person has a different preference in their choice of music. I listen to different genres, depending on my mood or what time of the day.
