Yes my mind is wandering again.. I have to admit I am stumped.. Why are some people online so consumed by race? It's all they talk about. I go online, Facebook and Forums to have fun. I've had people unfriend me on FB because I wouldn't bash Trump and call him a racist. I've had people tell me I AM a racist and unintelligent because I support what he has done. I never have and never will judge people by their political choices. I sometimes think some people come online simply to argue and be abusive. That for me at least is very sad.
Facebook and social media were a lot more fun when everyone talked about day to day stuff and laughed.

I hear you there...I don't get it either. What amazes me is people making judgments about my character when they've never met me and know nothing about me.
As you said, why can't we all just relax and laugh and have a good time?

I had a friend unfriend me because I did bash trump...but only with trumps own words. So it goes both ways and from both sides. I wouldn't have unfriended him for who he favors. I really didn't care who he favored. I've only encountered one person fixated on race. Actually they were out of control and the only thing they posted about.
Now I rarely post on Facebook, don't even check my page. But all my Facebook are either Friends or Family. Just takes to much time to mess with. But I keep Facebook because some of my games are tied into it.
On Instagram I've never had problems but I do talk to a few of the people there but it's mostly posting pictures.

I'd like to change one letter and ask: Why are some so consumed with ra ge? Race is one of several reasons why certain people seem to lose their sound judgement when they post online. Their anger is normally directed towards opponents, in politics, religion and other hot topics that may spark explosive disagreements. But the strange thing is that most of those individuals would have never behaved that way in real life. Hiding behind a username gives them an excuse to lose their normal respect and politeness. Pulling the race card is one of many cheep tricks they resort to when they are cornered and forced to use unkind methods to continue the debate. After having locked horns with such narrow minds all over the Net, my advice is to just ignore them and let them fry in their own fat.  |

Extremists often like to emphasise on the differences instead of what brings us together. Yes, I know that people are being discriminated against because of their race, gender, orientation, religion, handicap etc, but that doesn't give them the right to lash out at others in some kind of over-zealous vendetta against the rest of humanity.
