Alternative media

In some countries, like the USA and Germany, independent newspapers are not always truthful and fabricate sensational news just to sell their publications. I bought a peper in a Walmart Store once, where three men allegedly had survived for months on a life raft in the Pacific after their fishing boat had sunk, by catching fish and seagull withe their hands that they ate raw. Completely bogus of course! Likewise, a German paper announced that Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway was pregnant several years before she conceived princess Ingrid Alexandra. Such "news" we can very well do without, but in certain countries, non-governmental media are important to provide real truths if the government-owned ones try to manipulate facts.
