It makes you wonder about the mental health of some of the people here...
Sorry we don't attack each other on this forum. There are plenty of others where you can.

And why do you have to necessarily be mentally unstable to be a supporter of President Trump or the pro-America principles he espouses?
Frankly, the only thing I wonder about these days is the complete lack of tolerance I see from people on both sides of the fence. Perhaps if we stopped calling each other names and actually listened to each other we might be able to accomplish something positive? Just a thought.

LadyPorthos, " stopped calling each other names" - you mean President Trump?

Bestem♥r, no I mean everyone. I never remember seeing people turn on each other so quickly simply because they have different political views than in recent years. And even though people would like to place the blame at his feet, it's not all stemming directly from the President.

No one calls names more than President Donald Trump, he seems proud of his ability to be so juvenile.

I agree Bestem♥r, you never saw this with Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush or Obama and each had their own detractors. He even calls people his own party names if the dare to disagree with him. In his companies he surrounded himself with yes men and yes children. Most republicans are scared to speak out or they will get attacked. I didn't hear anything...

A lot of people are anybody-but his fans now! Not me, I'm a huge fan of President Trump. Some people are very easily pleased. I regard all leaders with deep suspicion.

But I do know a good thing for America when I see it and that would be Trump. Good in what way? His lack of manners? His arrogance? His stupidity? His infidelity? His financial incompetence/corruption shown by his serial bankruptcy? Trump has never fought for his country but no President has since Bush I. He is too much of a coward and a conscious traitor to his country even to pay his taxes. Like Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan, he is the scum of the earth. He has the kind of smug vacuous expression on his face that always makes me feel like punching him (and I felt the same about Clinton when he was President.) Some people in public office are just walking disaster zones and both Trump and Clinton are that in spades. Doubled, redoubled and vulnerable!

If you have a problem with Trump you also have a problem with all the Americans who voted him into office. He's doing what he said he was going to do, pure and simple!

He's doing what he said he was going to do, pure and simple! I disagree, some of my best friends voted for him. All seem to have different reasons. Most are sick of the childish name calling and also sick of his ignorant tweets. Even his people are trying to get him to dial it back. I see him as the sixth grade bully that never grows up.

If you have a problem with Trump you also have a problem with all the Americans who voted him into office. He's doing what he said he was going to do, pure and simple! Well, in the first place only a minority of Americans voted for him. Secondly I am anything BUT an admirer of Hillary Clinton and consider Trump marginally the lesser of two evils. But it did not have to be that way. There were better candidates available to both parties particularly the Republicans - John Kasich and Ben Carson were streets ahead of anyone in terms of intelligence and capacity. And Trump has broken quite a few of his promises already. And of course it is NO virtue to persevere with bad policies which is what Trump is at least PRETENDING to do. Do you remember what Trump said some years ago - that if he ever ran for the Presidency he would run for the Republicans because they were stupid? But of course the Republican Party sold its soul long ago. McCain was the last chance it had to return to its traditional role as the party of Lincoln, Grant, Harrison, McKinley, Roosevelt, Taft, Hoover, Norris, Landon, Dewey, Eisenhower and Nixon before it was taken over by an unholy alliance between the Buckleyites, the Randists and the neo-liberals. All three groups are of course profoundly at odds with the core values and traditions of the Republican Party and indeed the values of the Founding Fathers. Trump, the Tea Party and the Christian Coalition are all RINOS - interlopers who have taken over a once great party and turned it into a bunch of traitors and narcissists.

Thanks for the history lesson, even as bias as it may be.
