Debuts in theaters November 3rd
Synopsis:
Richard Linklater is one of the filmmakers whose every new contribution to cinema is a must see. In recent years, he has wowed with his completion of the Before Sunrise Trilogy, as well as the groundbreaking Boyhood. Even Everybody Wants Some!! is an underrated gem. Now he returns to the New York Film Festival with this contemplative comedy-drama about loss and pain. Focused on three middle-aged men who used to serve in the same U.S. Marine unit (Steve Carell, Bryan Cranston, and Laurence Fishbourne), the film follows their bittersweeet reunion after Carell's "Doc" loses his son to the Afghan War. Together, they will reunite to attend a funeral and some long buried truths.
My thoughts:
This looks like a real sad one, lots of Tissues needed. Not really my kind of movie, I don't do depressing. But I will give it a shot when it comes out streaming.

I'm not usually into tearjerkers either but I just saw an ad for this the other day and thought it actually looked pretty good.
