I saw on the news where the furniture store opened it's door for the people and feed them too. That's the kind of people I want to do business with.
My second family are ready to take 5 or 6 dogs in. They are all dog and cat friendly people and might end up with some of both. That's why we have been friends for well over ten years. They are really good people. There family from Galveston is staying in Dallas as are some from Houston. Some stayed in Houston and can't get to Dallas now because it is flooded leading to Houston.

Good for them Joey, that is wonderful. And yes the Gallery furniture store opened 2 of their stores to families. Both stores (of 3 they own) have restaurants so they can feed them as well. What a great thing to do.

I'm just gad they are above the water and are able to be used. You see a lot of generous people down there but I think I'll stay here. 200 feet above the river.

Yes, I thought that was wonderful of that furniture store owner and I saw where another retail business had set itself up to take care of the first responders. Gotta love the human spirit, when it works the way it's supposed to!
