Not sure I would go along with that. Like you said, why should you have to foot the bill for someone else.

Doesn't seem fair does it. Ive always looked after myself and have never been over weight, am I getting rewarded? Not a chance

Surely not fair to people that are already fit and workout. They pay club fees. I'd want my fees paid for me.

The idea is admirable but of course we will be footing the bill. Not very fair on the people who already look after themselves though Its no different to people getting help to quit smoking, your not being asked to pay any extra now, and the NHS will save in the future

Yes but when I went for help to quit smoking I had to pay for the prescription for patches
Also I don't think its a case of paying extra now but that the money must be coming from somewhere and there is only so much in the pot so other services must be going short to pay for this
I am sorry if I sound harsh but I don't think its fair at all. and in my humble opinion I doubt it will work, its just another scheme that will go down the pan but not before large amounts of cash are wasted
By all means provide help for people to get fit and lose weight and provide affordable exercise classes etc but not expensive gear and electrical gadgets. Being fit and healthy in the end should be incentive enough
