Most of you probably saw this on the new when it happened. But I thought I would post it again. I was sitting here on the computer and half watching the news when the story came on. I know Sea Lions and Seals can be a problem in some harbors as they lay on the docks and some boats. Plus they can be dangerous if you tried to walk around them or try to get them off you boat. But little girl was snatched right off the dock and into the water. When I saw it I nearly jumped out of my chair. Scared me because I didn't know the end of the story yet. So here it is.

Yeah, I saw that on our news. It really was scary. People tend to think seals and sea lions are cute but tend to forget they can also be dangerous. The parents of that little girl never should've let her sit on the edge of the dock like that when they knew the sea lion was there and being fed. They're lucky the outcome was so good.

Wild animals are just that, regardless of how long they have been in captivity. Some parents are ridiculously naive and irresponsible when it comes to exposing their children to a potential danger. I guess they were absent in the school of life when the "safety first" lesson was taught...
