Weird facts: A fire moves faster uphill

It's just like the glides I have been on. They fly towards the cliff to get lift.

True. The first time we did the glider ride we went out over the ocean then flew straight toward the mountain and when he turned up and up we went till we were way above the top ridge. There seems to always be a breeze there so they could do this non stop all day. It was fun enough we went back again years later.

Nothin daredevil about this really. Plane pulls the glide up to a certain height and cuts them loose and goes back and lands while you glide around for 1/2 hour to an hour with the pilot.

That's why I put the video on here. I don't jump off cliffs, I want someone that knows what they are doing for me to go along. But I have seen people hang gliding while in Hawaii, just not my thing.

Those guys have to log a lot of hour to het there license. While we were up there there was another glide flying below and to the left of us gaining hours so he could take passengers up.

Well it was really nice up there gliding around. They have two type rides, a nice smooth glide up and down the coast, out over the ocean back in to get lift and fly above the cliff or a thrill ride that is more like a roller coaster, We chose the first. Near the end he wanted to know if we would like a little taste of the other flight and we said sure. We already saw what we went up there for so he extended the ride a little longer and gave us a bit of the thrill. It was fun and he got a good tip for making it a lot more fun. The only thing we would do different is each take a different flight. We aren't as little as we once were and it's a tight little cabin.

Years ago we took a sea plane from Seattle to Vancouver Island. Just spent part of the day and flew back. Seemed like an older plane but it was interesting to see how many logs they move on the water. The next time we took a Ferry and I enjoyed that even more. Just a slow ride past a lot of other small islands, Very relaxing.
