The company admits that, "This is something we dreamed about and we have made the dream come true." The socks feature a "communication button" that allows the socks to speak to your iPhone. The things your socks might tell your iPhone include: which socks belong together,and could help sort them out, how often you have washed your socks, when your socks were produced, when you ordered your socks and when your socks were dispatched. Your iPhone can also tell you if your black socks are no longer properly black and help you buy new socks. The smartest socks in the world come with a price tag of $189 for 10 pairs. hahaha...I think I'll be passing on getting the smart socks. Mine get worm once before they are washed so always clean. Never wear black socks anyway. Better uses for my phone.
I think the smart part is getting people to buy them. After that it just gets stupid.

I sometimes get spam mail from a company selling "particularly comfortable" socks made of bamboo fibers that absorb sweat and prevent odor, according to the commercial. But since they are so expensive, I have never considered their offer.

The price is really the killer. I can get 6 to 10 pair of my white socks for the cost of one pair of theirs. So even if they were white I wouldn't buy them. The $189 in socks would probably last me the rest og my life...no for sure it would last me the rest of my life unless I liked to be 150.

...yes, as long as the technology works! When it fails, it's back to sorting out pairs by colour and material again, I'm afraid.  |

I don't need to have socks tell me when they are washed, I wear them once and they go into the wash. Were and when I got them? Who cares I have them now. Properly black? When I'm dressed you can't even see my socks, they could be pink and nobody would know. Makes no sense to me.
