This evening we had to take Emory to the Emergence Vet. The day went fine and in the afternoon before she ate she wanted something. So I took her out and she did her business. Came back in and she started to eat. But she kept circling around a lot more than normal. Then she sort of stumbled, then it happened again. We took her to the Emergency Vet. They took blood and watched her. Blood test everything came back normal. He thought she might have had a mild seizure. So we will take her to the regular Vet Monday to see what they think and possibly get medication it it keeps happening.

Wow, that sounds terrible, Joey! A seizure for such a young dog! Hopefully, she will shake off the effects and have a long life. Paws crossed! shappy_wave_100-102

We were happy with the blood work and so far today there have been no problems. Maybe it was a one time thing and maybe not. Hard to say. They did say if it happens again get a video of it and that would be a big help figuring out what happened. Paws are crossed here too.

Thanks Bestem♥r, The Vet said keep an eye on her and bring her in if it happens again. So far no more problems and all seems normal again. I'm starting to think fluid in her ears could have caused it. She does scratch below her ear a lot. But we will watch her closely.

I came up with it because I scratch the same way, just not with my foot.

Joey, just saw this.. It could have been an inner ear issue but I would think the vet would check for that. I hope she's doing much better.

It's been a week and so far no more problems. She is really doing great from what we can tell. She does not like ice on the driveway or frozen grass. So that's the biggest problem now. She is OK with snow because she can get traction.
I'll keep you posted.

SO far still good. That's kind of why I think it had something to do with here ears. But today it's foggy and it's killing my ears and head so I hope it doesn't bother her.

Looks Like EM will be needing an operation on both back legs. I'm thinking they will do the worse one first and then we will go back for the second one. Not sure yet. Might find out tomorrow. We will have to go about a n hour and half away for the operation. I guess that is if they will do it. Sure hoping they will. A vet is calling them and will make the arrangements.
