Thanks for your kind words, ladydi!  Yes, deyana, it was really a hot day and an excellent atmosphere for a great concert. In fact, the summer of 1997 was unusually warm on the Norwegian west coast, so we took advantage of that and went on many memorable mountain trips. |

Everything is funnier when the weather is nice. The west coast of Norway normally has a lot of rain, but some years are different. I just read in a local newspaper that a journalist sarcastically asked his readers "does anybody remember what rain is?" Obviously after more than a month without it, he allegedly suspected people to have forgotten.  |

1997 was my first summer in Norway and I thought that the weather was always that good. I loved the mountain trips and the breathtaking views. Where we live now, there are no mountains, but we have the forest as a good back-up solution. Here is the village where we used to live from one of the mountains overlooking it.  |
