She was 8 months old yesterday. No party till her birthday. And she is tiny. She is a small Chihuahua. She isn't teacup size but the next size bigger. Sammy got a little heavy but not bad for as tall as she was. I got her down a few pounds and she was still twice the size of Emory. Emory has legs about half the length of Sam. December 15 is her birthday if you are in the area.

I love Chihuahuas So do we now. We have a parrot that stays out of his cage and a bigger dog might be a problem. Ricco the parrot sits right in front of a window and even though it's a heavy cage a big dog could easily tip it over. Once your dog gets full size it could probably eat the cage. So Chihuahuas work best for us. My wife wanted a Great Dane and I said NO WAY!!! |

My wife wanted a Great Dane and I said NO WAY!!! I bet your wallet also agrees with that decision, Joey ! For such a huge dog, you'd probably need to at least triple the food budget... Plus the cost of poop bags. It would be like having a pony in the house. actually some ponies are even smaller. Then you have to take it to the Vet taking up a huge part of the car...I love the gentle giants but they wouldn't work here. We have our minds full with Emory.

We raised Great Danes when I was little. We had a Female and 10 pups in our house. I love them, they are big but the sweetest dog in the world.

One of Ricco's favorite foods is french fries. When ever we get some he begs you to feed him he'll eat 6 fries with out a problem along with his food. He slits the fry and only eats the potato on the inside.  |

I love love birds and finches. I had a friend with two daughters so he bought one for each. They were very productive and soon all the family had one or two. At the time I cad two conures (Jorge and Jose) and my Blue fronted Amazon parrot (Ricco). When I got a new camera this was the first picture I took of him. He is rarely in his cage except to sleep and then I cover him up. He has two cages, his bedroom cage and the living room cage.  |
