I'm going to take a wild guess and say you don't combine most of these and dishes at the same time because there is no way a hair brush, even with the hair removed is going in with my dishes. But I like the pet toy idea and you could pretty much just do it on the rinse cycle...then rinse again before you put my dishes in.
