That's not entirely true. Nobody is denying you self-study or private education if you can afford it. With the exception of piano and drums, I have taught myself the rest of the instruments I master, so my advice is: Go for it, but start with something simple, like the bass guitar! |

Don't be so sure! I was a music teacher for many years. I'd probably find an instrument where you could express your musicality, too. |

Okay. Here is what some of my friends play/played for musical instruments.
Abby (Now at college) : Saxophone, Piano, vocals, and I think ukulele, but I am not sure.
Mrs. Lee (Former 2nd period Gourmet Desserts teacher) : Formerly cello, now trumpet.
Melissa (Best friend) : Clarinet and bass clarinet.
Stevie (Friend) : Saxophone, doesn't play anymore. I think she plays other instruments as well, but I am not 100% positive if she does or not.
Alexa: Clarinet, saxophone, and French Horn. Also a singer.
