Pro: A good reason for getting out of the house. Can meet up with other friends that you haven't seen in a long time. Hearing good music live. Can see international artists performing right in front of you, which will be quite a fond memory in the years to come. Getting pleasantly surprised by an opening act you hadn't heard, unusual set lists, etc. Feeling as though you are briefly one with humanity gathered together for a common purpose. Experience the possibility that one of your favourite artists will stage dive right into your hands. You get to brag to your friends and say that you've been to a concert with XXX.
Con: Parking, driving, etc. High ticket costs. Staking out a great spot by the stage the second the doors open and having some tall jerk push his way in at the last minute and position himself right in front of you. If you haven't purchased numbered seats, you'll end up so far behind that you can only see some tiny figures and you will be watching the big screen they put up at the sides. You may have to stand for the duration of the concert. Other fans could be idiots. The music could be way too loud. Even a live band in a bar for an hour could leave you with a buzzing in your head for hours. Easier to stay home.
