I see autism like a breakdown in the way our brains are constructed.
Crossed wires maybe.
The message I try to put across in this video is that while we are lacking in some ways, we can make up for in others and that most of all, we are still beautiful.
And that is how the Frou Frou song inspired me to put this all together.
Because there's beauty in the breakdown.

Background
The video clips are from documentaries and short films about autism, fact most of the people involved are on the spectrum aside the nurse/carer and the boy with the balloons. That comes from a video called 'A Sunny Day In Glasgow' I stumbled upon in my research, I really like balloons and their journeys and so I have mixed several parts of this movie in with the rest.
The drawing graphics come from a film called 'A For Autism' and I really like stuff like this that moves with the music so well, a couple of other of my creations have animated graphics mixed in.
Recording and sequencing
'Because there's beauty in the breakdown'. Just that one line from the song was to cause all of this. I have always liked Imogen Heap and electronic and experimental music and so the Frou Frou song is a real favourite with me.
I usually use Corel but the VideoStudio 6 was on my old pc and I am currently using a V8 trial but seeing all the new effects you can overlay (you'll notice these breaks several times in the video, mostly bridging from verse to chorus) I'll definitely be spending the $71, oh and hopefully making some new creations too.
