It's her hard earned money , if she wants to spend it on her kids she can. I have spent quiet a lot this year but i think they deserve it , love to see them opening gifts on christmas morning , it's one of life's pleasures , there is too much heartache in the world, let this mum and her kids have a great christmas

There are always people that like to criticise others and tip the media about unusual things. Yesterday, I read in an online newspaper that a Syrian asylum seeker in Vadsø, Norway, went into a supermarket and bought a cart full of bread on sale @ 50 pence a loaf, which he planned to surprise his likeminded with at the institution. But a Norwegian woman took a piture of him and posted it on social media, with a spiteful comment that we give them too much money so that they can glutton!? Considering the pressies are for 3 kids and a husband then £1,500 is not massively excessive. I mean gone are the days when kids were happy with books and normal toys, most kids want mobiles and I pads and they would set you back a lot. She has a lot there and has maybe saved up all year for them, either way its her business and her money but I don't get why it had to be posted on social media, that smacks of bragging to me
Also everyone who knows where she lives and now know there is a mountain of loot to steal if they fancy it

Yes its important to remember that as all we usually hear about are the bad things. There are a lot of selfless people who will be giving their precious time to help out in homeless centres and shelters this winter, unsung heros in my book
