I have a painting over my bed of an Iris that I love. It was painted by my SIL's grandmother, Polly Cox, who was a pretty famous painter in her day.

We have a painting of three zebras drinking water that Lys' sister made. She is a gifted artist that teaches young people painting techniques and skills in Brazil. We had another of her works exhibited for sale at an art gallery, but the owner decided to buy it himself at a good price!

... the cloths lines in the ceiling. We also used them for curtains to separate the sleeping sofa from the rest of our living room when we have overnight guests to give them a little privacy. So they are there for a purpose, but not something that one normally finds in an apartment.

Basically anywhere with a warm climate, beach and a language that I understand. Brazil would have been nice and given me an excuse to learn Portuguese better.
But that's utopian right now. Instead, we have begun to make vague plans about retiring to Italy, somewhere close to our grandson.
