One of Ukraine's most beloved destinations is the Tunnel of Love. It is a railway line that starts from Klevan station and reaches the northern part of Orzhiv. 4.9 km of this stretch is what we call the Tunnel of Love, covered by a mesmerising forest. It is a favourite place for couples and also for single travellers that like to find some peace and quiet time.
The railway was built during the Cold War for military purposes. Trying to hide it, the track was 'camouflaged' by trees. Later, the train track was used to deliver wood to the woodwork factory. In fact, trains still run there.
