I'm afraid that in some years, the word newspaper will become obsolete, since you most likely won't find much news actually being printed on paper, which is good news for the forest.

There is still a lot of local news that gets in the paper since it isn't on the local news.
It you follow sports most of the details are in the paper and just the score is on the news.
As for death notices you pretty much need the paper to see who died andread their obit. None of that is in the news.
Plus what would I put on the bottom of the bird cage?

There are obits on line if you know what funeral home they might be at. And I'm not going to search daily when it's a lot easier in printed form. Also there is also a link to where you can post message to the family.
ALso it's needed daily for the bird cage.
