literally popping up everywhere. I agree! I find that even giants of that size are even more amazing! Which dino do you guys like most fascinating ?! T-Rex would have to be my favourite. What I like best about dinosaurs, besides the fact that we're always learning something new, is their vast array of shapes and sizes. Some were huge, some were tiny, and there was every shape and size in between.

Just heard a new Oviraptorid has been named. Its fossils were discovered in the Miaogou Formation of Inner Mongolia, northern China, in 2021, and it's now been named Yuanyanglong ("Lovebird dragon"). This is the first Early Cretaceous oviraptorid to be named from the Gobi Desert region.

what got you into dinosaurs? if you don't mind me asking. I think its fascinating how they lived before us and was able to live before ice age. some animals are still around naming elephants/mammoths... tigers/sabertooth, even Crocs.

I'd have to say 'Jurassic Park' is what got me really interested in studying dinos. They're extraordinary animals and there's always something new to learn.
