What are your thoughts on this?
For me, I know it's legal and no laws were broken. Hell I smoked pot in college too.. but that was college.. she is an Anchor on a major News Network. Not sure this is something I want to see from a News Network.

Good entertainment, but not the best of examples for young people, even if we will see more drugged people everywhere with the liberal laws in some states and countries.

www.newsweek.com/pot-panic-fox-news-laura-ingraham-roasted-after-criticizing-cnn-new-years-eve-767459POT PANIC: FOX NEWS' LAURA INGRAHAM ROASTED AFTER CRITICIZING CNN NEW YEAR'S EVE COVERAGE It looks like conservative FOX NEWS' Laura Ingraham has been roasted for he meltdown response too this CNN segment. "Fox News host Laura Ingraham had a mini meltdown on Twitter on Monday morning over a CNN New Year's Eve segment from a marijuana party bus. Then she got burned. As part of its annual New Year's Eve coverage, hosted this year by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper and Bravo host Andy Cohen, CNN dispatched correspondent Randi Kaye to the "Canni-bus," a marijuana bus party in Denver that saw attendees smoking during Kaye's broadcast. Recreational marijuana use is legal in Colorado." " It took just minutes for hundreds of replies to come in, some making fun of the Fox News host with others providing reasonable and thoughtful rebuttals to Ingraham's contentious tweet. A handful of respondents even recommended that Ingraham give marijuana a try herself. Even a number of Ingraham's supporters didn't agree with her attack against recreational marijuana, with one writing: "Sorry Laura, I love you & your conservative positions but pot is sooooo much safer than an unconscious, how did I get home, booze binge. I know from experience and never, ever went into a slurred & unconscious state with pot." Another shared his position, tweeting: "Laura I usually agree with most everything you say. However, the days of #reefermadness scare tactics are over. #bigpharmais responsible for the death of millions a year, with their witchcraft and sorcery.". Read whole story at link.

So.. do you have thoughts of your own on the story? That is why I posted it, to see what members thought about a reporter smoking pot on the air. Looking for input and conversation not the opinions of other reporters or twits..
Edited to add: Not trying to be snarky or rude, I am genuinely interested on thoughts and opinions of a reporter smoking Pot on air.. regardless of the network.

You may not agree with some of their opinions but I seem to remember you more than once chiding me for being arrogant among other things if someone does not agree with me. Calling people names certainly is not IMO a great way to debate. Critiquing someone's opinion is very different then just calling them names.

I was referring to Twitter which I and friends refer to as twit and or twits. So much for conversation.

My opinion is some people are making a mountain out of a molehill over this.
She was not driving the bus or anything else. She was completely coherent.
On many New Year Eve shows they have the champagne bottles out. They have guests that are obviously inebriated.
I myself neither drink nor do marijuana. However all the evidence in is that marijuana is far safer than alcohol.
My father ALWAYS performed at a private party on New Year's Eve while I was growing up. All musicians have a gig then.
I waited and waited until he came home safely. I was so scared some drunk driver woould hurt or kill him.
I have never liked being on the roads on NYYear's Eve. I have never really liked the parties. People trying too hard to be happy using alcohol.
So I group of people in bus...not driving...not endangering other people's lives...does not get me too worked up.

Personally I think it was in poor taste just like drinking on air isn't cool.
I use to drink and use to smoke pot. It isn't the example I would set for my niece and nephew. But that's just me, older and wiser. Actually I think they probably think I'm antique.
Also I'm surprised they even let them do it. Cigarettes are legal and you never see them smoked on air now. It people think smoking grass won't cause health problems they may be in for a huge surprise.

Totally agree Joey,. to me it's the example they are setting. Just because it's legal doesn't mean we need to see them doing it. I mean brothels are legal in Las Vegas. That doesn't mean I want to see a reporter go into one and get it on.
