Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) threatened Thursday to vote against Republicans’ $1.5 trillion tax overhaul unless it further expands a child tax credit to millions of working families, leaving GOP leaders searching for answers on a final deal that had appeared to be on the verge of sailing through the House and Senate. Rubio, along with Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), wants Republican leaders to include the expansion as they reconcile separate tax measures passed by the House and Senate, working to craft a final compromise bill that could pass both chambers and be sent President Trump for his signature. GOP leaders had said Wednesday they believed that they had reached a broad agreement that both chambers could pass, and they planned to unveil the package Friday morning with hopes of voting on it early next week. But opposition from Rubio and perhaps Lee — who has not yet decided whether to support the bill, a spokesman said Thursday — could delay or derail the tax effort.".

Done and done. Rubio is always a sellout. Did that surprise you? Rubio has already sold out as of today. So did Corker despite all of his rhetoric and the fact is not going to run for his seat in 2018.

www.cnn.com/2017/12/15/politics/tax-reform-marco-rubio-final-bill/index.htmlGOP tax plan: The bill is set. Rubio, Corker back to yes. What happens next? "(CNN)Republicans have finished writing the final version of their tax bill, clearing the way for a floor vote that leaders say they are optimistic will pass -- and at least two key Senate votes have gone from "no" to "yes." Sen. Marco Rubio, a Republican of Florida, is a "yes" on the tax reform bill, per a source close to the senator. In two tweets earlier Friday afternoon, Rubio said, "For far too long, Washington has ignored and left behind the American working class. Increasing the refundability of the Child Tax Credit from 55% to 70% is a solid step toward broader reforms which are both Pro-Growth and Pro-Worker. ... But there is still much more to do in the months and years to come. The progress made on the Child Tax Credit would not have been possible without the support of @senmikelee, @senatortimscott, and @ivankatrump.". "In addition to Rubio, Sen. Bob Corker, who initially voted against the bill when it first passed the chamber, announced Friday afternoon he'd back the bill. "After many conversations over the past several days with individuals from both sides of the aisle across Tennessee and around the country -- including business owners, farmers, chambers of commerce and economic development leaders -- I have decided to support the tax reform package we will vote on next week," the Tennessee Republican said in his statement.". Bob Corker also said he would never vote on a bill that raised the deficit...but now I guess that's OK.
It shouldn't even be called a middle class tax break. It's a huge tax break for the rich that will stuff the money in their pockets. Create more jobs the middle class is told. That's a joke right? Don't they first have to have orders to create jobs? OH this could go on and on about all the people it hurts and one day you will get to see it all happen.
The rich get richer the poor get poorer. One day there will be no middle class. Who will pay the taxes then?

I would never read one of his books...not in a million years, if I could live that long. I already know he's a con artist. Just look at the Big Fat Christmas Tax bill we received. He screwed us all. So buying one of his books is laughable to me. You'll never see one in this house.
