I was a social smoker between age 19 and 34, both cigars and cigarettes, mostly on parties. But I quit in 1996, mainly because Lys hates it and with my present health situation, it would have been detrimental to continue.

Edit: I tried pipe smoking while living in Lebanon. It was easy to get tobacco straight from the fields where the farmers hung it to dry. I used to have my pipe in the back pocket of my trousers, but once, while I was driving a truck, it broke when I was sitting on it and I never bought another one.
