Probably unless it it absurdly late.
I live in a private development. Nothing has ever happened here.
I know there can always be a first time but I do not like living in fear.
Plus I have certain security which I do not post on open forums.

Nope and it has nothing to do with being afraid. I don't like be bothered by unexpected guests. If you want to visit then call and let me know. If I'm not expecting you I don't answer the door.

I do like guests to call first.
On the other hand we are very friendly in our development so it is not unusual for people to ring if they notice you are home.
