What song or songs absolutely grabbed you, stopped you in your tracks the very first time you heard it or them ? Just one song. Happened in the middle of a photo shoot and it was Songbird by Kenny G I stopped recorded it and have bought 4 or 5 CD with the song since then. Every or SUV gets that song played first in it. And if I die first the plan is to gather my friends for dinner and make them listen to it on last time.

What childhood song do you remember your mother and or father always playing? I can't remember that far back but when I ate breakfast before school the radio was on and I heard Hello Dolly by Louis Armstrong may times and liked him and the song.

Thanks, the CD to buy if you want some of his best songs is Duo Tones - Kenny G
Back to childhood songs of parents my future father in-law listened to country and I always enjoyed old Hank William's Senior songs. Even bought some CD's of his old songs. They still make me smile.

Hank Williams.. mom listened to him all the time too.. Forgot one other group she listened to, Chad Mitchell Trio.. might be why I love that kind of music so much

My mother played everything from Gregorian Chant to The Sex Pistols. My father plays classical Spanish guitar, and my sister plays the flute and is partial to Jethro Tull. I remember one Fourth of July we went to The Charles (river) with a boom-box. My mother played John Lennon's Christmas song and people started yelling at her. I'm sitting here laughing as I think about it. We were always into mischief.

I don't think my dad was ever a music fan. He watched shows that played music but I can never remember him saying he liked anything more than another. Don't think he was a Dylan fan like I was.

Do you wrap your gifts or do you have someone else do it?

Wrapping is an art and is as important as what's inside. Of course I do it myself.

I use to wrap presents ans I wrapped them in newspaper for my wife. So under the tree any in newspaper were hers and if it was wrapped in the comic section it was the best thing I bought her. Now we rarely wrap gifts. This year I'm using Christmas stockings, and a bag with matching tissue paper. My wife and I don't exchange gifts. If we see something we want or need we buy it them. One year my car was all the holidays and birthdays wrapped into one for 5 years. A few years later a ring was my wife's presents for several years. Didn't wrap the ring or the car that we picked out.

When we were in school we used the comic section and aluminum foil to wrap presents.
Now I but wrapping paper after Christmas when it is on super discount.
I look for unusual wrapping paper except for the kids.
The shinier the better. The more Disney the better.

My dad used to wrap all the gifts for us because he loved doing it and he always did stuff to keep us from guessing what was in the box. Now I wrap the gifts. I don't mind. Joey, I've used newspaper before too, I think it's a fun idea.
