Question for Wednesday, July 26th Do you eat food that’s past its expiration date if it still smells and looks fine? I don't look at the dates much, if it looks good and smells good I'm eating it! I think you have to rely on your senses. If there is more than an inch of mould on it I chuck it!!

I sent home some homemade Chinese food one day and 2 weeks later he calls and says, the rice looks blue, it's still ok to eat, right?

Attack on the Twin Towers. I was working in Queens at the time and was about a mile away as the crow flies. Watched it happen live then lived it for months afterwards.. On the bright side I made some wonderful cyber friends that were at Ground Zero and needed a support group online.. We talked Mets Baseball and life but mostly listened.

I seldom watch scary movies, "Misery" or "The Shining" & only b/c of the books; I LOVE Stephen King.

I really don't watch horror films. I have seen The Shining and The Ring, and they completely creeped me out!
I saw Nosferatu (silent) which was very - um - atmospheric.

Nosferatu is a great movie. One of my favorites, as are all the 1931-33 classics. Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, Creature of the Black Lagoon and Werewolf. I have them all.

^jumping back a ways the most historic things I remember is when JFK was assassinated (I remember exactly where I was standing when I heard the news), when MLK was assassinated, when RFK was assassinated and 9/11/01.
I liked the old classics like Frankenstein too. Can't really get into the newer horror movies. I did watch the first Halloween but didn't watch the rest of them.
