Hope you all brought your cameras. Feel free to take as many photos as you like and don't be afraid to ask questions if there's something you'd like to know.

*leads the group through to another clearing at the edge of the forest* OK, everyone, let's quieten down at bit, please. There's a pair of nesting Oviraptors here and we don't want to cause too much disturbance.

How long does it take for the eggs to hatch? Depending on species, it can take anywhere between three and six months.

These are unusual looking dinos. I see they have wings...can they actually fly?

I'll guess they can't fly because of their very short flight feathers that give them the lift needed.

*leads the group quietly across the clearing towards the other side of the forest* Look what we've got here, a Ceratosaurus enjoying an afternoon snooze.

Let's go investigate the other side of the forest. I think I see a few Sauropod heads sticking through the trees. It's amazing how much vegetation these massive animals are able to consume in a single day. Modern elephants eat an average of between 113 and 136 kilos of vegetation everyday. Sauropods, on the other hand, consume nearly ten times that amount.

Most of their life must revolve around eating, then.

Yes, they spend the majority of their time searching for food and eating it.

*brings the group to a stop near a Sauropod herd feeding on the tall trees* Camarasaurus, the most common Sauropod in the United States during the Late Jurassic. Its name means "Chambered lizard", in reference to the hollow chambers in its vertebrae.

Must be careful to not turn too quickly, to avoid breaking the trunks with their tail...
