Has a long tail but the body isn't huge. Not sure I would hant it pecking at me. Body wise it's a lot smaller than the turkeys that come in the yard and they get really aggressive.

Takes a lot of lift to get a bird to fly.
I keep my parrots winds clipped so it can't fly. You just clip 1/2 off of 4 flight feathers and he can't fly. It's almost nothing and he cant take off. In a few months they replace the feathers with new ones and you wit till they get grown and clip them again. His beak can cause so much damage we want him to stay on his cage. His cage door is always open and he is usually outside his cage.
