Tix Mascot , Explorer , LadyPorthos , well done for correctly guessing the answer to this week's quiz question. You were asked: In feet, how long were T-Rex's arms? 3, 4, 5 or 6?Answer: Three. Despite being short compared to the size of the body, T-Rex had unusually powerful forelimbs, capable of lifting around 200kgs. It's been suggested the forelimbs may have been used to hold struggling prey or to help it rise from a sleeping position on the ground. Another theory is that males used their forelimbs to grasp the females during mating.

Well I missed it. I thought the size of T-Rex make them look smaller than they were.

Amazing! Still, I want to find out how it looked like, so I found this image: I wonder: Was it able to fly properly? What does Cryolophosaurus mean? No idea. From this tread, I have learned that 'saur(us)' means lizard, but the rest...

Tix Mascot , the lack of a bony breastbone suggests Archaeopteryx wasn't a very strong flier, however, it's still unclear whether or not it was capable of powered flight or was simply a glider.
