What does that thing do eat a tree a day. It's estimated that some sauropods may have eaten between one and two metric tonnes of vegetation every day.

Time to reveal the answer to this week's quiz question. You were asked: There are fifty states in the US. Which eleven of them were once covered by the Western Interior Seaway?
Answer: Iowa, Nebraska, New Mexico, Wyoming, Texas, Montana, South Dakota, Colorado, Oklahoma, Utah and North Dakota. If you live in any of these states, then the place where your house now stands was once underwater. This seaway was home to hundreds of animals including mosasaurs, ammonites, plesiosaurs and dozens of different fish species.
