Species: T. sinensis, T. chingkankouensis Size: Estimated to have measured around 7 metres long and weighing 2 metric tonnes. Family: Uncertain. Likely Hadrosaurid. Diet: Herbivore First fossils found: Known from fossils discovered in the Jiangjunding Formation of Shandong Province, eastern China. First discovered in 1923. Known only from a single, partial skeleton, Ornitholestes ("Bird robber") was a small Theropod, estimated to have measured around two metres long and weighing between 10 and 15kgs. It lived in what is now the western United States around 154 million years ago during the Kimmeridgian stage of the Late Jurassic.
