I'd say Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo from 1958 is the best film ever made.

I remember when the first Jaws came. It was in the beginning of 7th grade and most of my classmates watched it on a Sunday. We spent the better part of the following week to discuss the frightening scenes and the special effects. Those were great times. Nowadays, we just seem to take all technical achievements for granted.

In some parts of the world, like Australia, the danger is real; and sharks pose a risk to swimmers and surfers, so better beware...

The Godfather, parts I and II gets my vote for the greatest films of all time.
Gone With The Wind definitely belongs on that list, as does Citizen Kane.
Schindler's list and Cabaret belongs on that list as well.
